. Ask Jenn! -Onesole Shoes Can I buy just a top for OneSoles, or do I have to buy a whole set? You can buy anything you like the OneSole makes.We used to sell mostly sets, but recently moved to an A la Cart so you can get just what you want. Why don't have all the tops on your own web site? OneSole does a great job of showing all their tops, so why reinvent the wheel? Since they are always changing their line up, we'd spend valuable time making those changes instead of packing your orders. Many gals look at OneSole.com for their designs, making note of the name and price and then order them online to get the free shipping. Can I buy tops from OneSole that are on clearance with free shipping? Not just clearance items, but you're welcome to add clearance tops to your order, we ask that you stick to one clearance top for every two other regular priced tops you buy- why? Because they are at the lowest price possible and we can't afford to give you free shipping on them. I see that they offer four sizes of tops, how do I know what size I need?With the soles, if you take a 1/2 size, I'd round up. With an open shoe, that gives you a good perimeter and room for your foot to move and not come too close to an edge. As for the tops, getting the right size is essential to enjoying these shoes. Your foot should be held in place, but not strangled. For sole sizes 5/6 they recommend a small, for 7/8 they recommend a medium, for 9/10 they recommend a large and for 10/11 an XL maybe a good place to start. We break those recommendations every day. If you have a slim foot, you may want a medium top on a sole up to a 10 or so. It is not unusual for us to fit someone with a 9 and medium top. I can also share with you that the black comfie top that comes with your shoe fits snugger than a silkscreen top- it's cut from different fabric. Judge the fit best in a silkscreen or similar top. What would be best for us is that you have an opportunity to try OneSoles on and to test the fit of the different sizes. Since we offer free shipping, we are glad to send the first order with free shipping if you meet the criteria, but experimenting through the mail isn't fun for any of us. The customer is responsible for return, and replacement order shipping. I tried to order online, but I can't figure out where to put the right information? Sure can, just put it in your first choice box- write no crystals following if you want extra insurance- that's no problem for us. Any design you see can be made with, or without crystals. There is a comment section on your order- share with me special notes there. I remember you did shoe tops from photos- is that still available? Sure is, just email me your photo, or pattern or print and I will have them made into photo tops for you, plain is $30 and with crystals are $35. You can send a picture of a favorite child, pet or even have a shoe cover made to match your favorite top or purse. Just select the photo top product and then reference the order number in an email and attach your photo, 300 dpi or better makes a great shoe top. Are the Strappies comfortable? We find people either love them or don't care for them. Are they as comfortable as the comfie tops- no, but they add a great variety of look to your shoe and are similar to the regular shoes we are all familiar with. Consider your foot shape when ordering, they come in full sizes, like your sole, so adjust accordingly. Strappies may take a wearing or two to settle in and conform to your foot, but they are worth the effort! With these shoes, you can put a pair of comfie tops in your purse and switch out. I measured my black solid top against the silkscreen tops and the black top is way smaller- what gives with that? The solid black tops are cut from a different material that most of the other tops. Black is a hard color to print, so they cut these tops from custom made material. The silkscreen material needs to be thinner to go through their 'direct to fabric' printer. So they evaluated how each stretches and cut the tops to accommodate the difference in their stretch. When silkscreen tops are printed with black, the color may look dark brown in the sun, this is because it is 'four color process' black meaning that the black is printed by adding all the printing colors, resulting in a softer black color. All tops are bound in black on the sides, no exceptions. What if I get a top I don't like or order the wrong size? We'll ask you to first call or place another correct order with 'exchange' in the comment section. That's so we can get the right item on the way to you. Then we ask you to return them to us in perfect condition any way that is good for you. Then we send the replacement pieces with shipping at cost. We don't give refunds, but we have a liberal exchange policy. Which is the best selling sole? I think the black leisure and the black elegance are probably our best sellers, but there is a shoe for everyone. The lowest heel is the leisure, great for a lot of walking or someone who has no business wearing higher heels, like me. The new cork leisure is quickly catching up with the others, it looks great with summer colors too. The Elegance is a nice height and has a pretty line to the toe and wedge. It is a stable shoe and dresses up great. The Traveler, Diva and Chic are great heels for those who like a really foxy shoe. Being able to own a couple of different styles of soles and being to wear any of your tops on any sole is why we love OneSole shoes. I bought some similar shoes called Lexees- will those tops work on OneSoles? Sorry, they don't work on Onesoles, they have three smaller snaps instead of two industrial snaps. Lexees 'admired' the OneSole concept and designed their own shoe 'Made in China' shoe, they may have come too close to the OneSole concept and the two companies entangled in a lengthy lawsuit- Dominique won all their assetts, profits and probably damages. For you Lexees lovers, OneSole will make any comfie top with the needed 3 snaps for just 420- you'll see that product to order. I bought a sole called the Classic- why did they stop making this style? Good news! The Classic is back and better than ever and they even added another great style the Islander- great for wider feet. They're both at a special price of $50 for the sole and comfie top alone. This is a great casual shoe- enjoy the second coming of the Classic.
